Jay Perry


Jay is a professional actor (AEA), musician, and arts administrator who hails from Salt Lake City where he attended the University of Utah's Actor Training Program. Jay has performed in numerous local theatre productions as well as in professional regional theatre and Off-Broadway. He has originated dozens of roles in world and regional premieres for Plan-B Theatre Company, and has acted locally at Salt Lake Acting Company, Pioneer Theatre Company, The Grand Theatre, Salt Lake Shakespeare, and Pygmalion Productions. Jay has narrated for The Utah Symphony, Intermezzo Chamber Orchestra, Nova Chamber Music, and The Salt Lake Symphony, and his voice has been featured locally by Ballet West, Squatters, The Utah Arts Festival, and in every installment of the Plan-B Radio Hour on KUER’s Radio West. Jay spent many years as Program Coordinator for Youth Theatre at the University of Utah. He now manages Alliance Theater for the Utah Arts Alliance and serves as Co-Director of the Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival.
