Jamie is a freelance theatre director specializing in the Classics and New writing. Born and raised in London, he completed his MFA in Theatre Directing at Birkbeck College London. He has also served as the Literary manager of the Jermyn Street Theatre and was Co-director of Forsite/Hindsite, a writer's group based at the Royal Court Theatre. Jamie has worked at numerous theaters and universities both in the UK and US including The Royal Shakespeare Company, The Globe Theatre London, Lyric Theatre Hammersmith, Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, University of Utah, Salt Lake Acting Company, Grand Theatre. At the University of Utah Jamie has taught Shakespeare’s Sonnets, Introduction to Playwriting, New Play Workshop, and has been a guest lecturer for Playwriting, Dramaturgy, Set and Costume design classes.
